Our BA Human Geography and Environment degree builds the skills, knowledge, and capacities for understanding and developing solutions for important social and environmental challenges.

The course is developed through insights from human geography and environmental studies to explore the complex relationships between people, places, and environments. It explores challenges and solutions to modern problems, such as:

  • inequalities in global development
  • how to achieve inclusive and sustainable change
  • creating sustainable food and transport systems
  • the challenges of moving to sustainable consumption

Teaching and assessment

You’ll study and learn with academics who are active researchers, experts in their field and have a passion for their subjects. Our approach to teaching will provide you with the knowledge, opportunities, and support you need to grow and succeed in a global workplace.
