On this course, you’ll create your own pathway across the globe — studying modules from Britain and Europe, to the Americas, Africa, Asia and Australia. You’ll hone your ability to think critically about how the past is understood, and how it relates to the present. All our courses are designed around a set of key principles based on engaging you with the world, collaborating with others, challenging you to think in new ways, and providing you with a supportive environment in which you can thrive.Throughout your studies you will be taught by published historians who are experts in their fields but, in the foundation year, will also have contact with a wider range of experts from the Department. You’ll have access to a wide variety of academic texts and primary sources to learn the skills of a historian, and explore the wider significance of modern history in contemporary society.Duration- 4 (5 Year with placement year)
