Attend seminars and events at our art gallery on campus which houses works by famous artists such as Van Gogh, Monet, Turner, Magritte and Kollwitz. Get practical arts experience with our Inside the Gallery and Professional Skills modules - learn how to curate an exhibition and engage with Birmingham city's lively scene bursting with artistic venues and opportunities. Get involved with our active Art History department - publish exhibition reviews on our official blog, the Golovine, and join our student society, HartSoc. You’ll be assessed in different ways to suit each module. At the start of a module, you’ll be told how and when you’ll be assessed. Methods will vary but may include coursework (e.g., essays), group or individual presentations and projects, exams, reports or computer-based assignments.
