University of Sunderland

I definitely think the uni has a great friendly feel to it and the resources that can be used to help you develop on your course are outstanding. Lecturers are amazing ay understanding any issues you may be having. The uni could be improved by making student more aware of where they can go for help if there struggling as sometimes its not always clear wheres the best place and person to talk to.

The university is very supportive and contains members of staff who are very knowledgeable and dedicated to helping students succeed

My first year has been fantastic, my second year will hopefully have more face to face but the dedication shown by the lecturers has been superbe. The facilities are fantastic as well as the support from not only the tutors, fellow students but also the librarians and the tutors that are not connected to my course are always available and will always help if needed.

It is one of the diverse university in the north east of England. It offers students opportunities like training in different areas, prepare for the future by offering placement, help build relationships with new organisations and create employability. Also, I get the right support from the lecturer to be able to be more successful in my field of studies. In terms of improvement I would suggest the university needs to consider modernize the campus, create an opportunity for recreational aspect and organise study tour for students.

I really love the staff here at Sunderland. Everyone is very friendly and wants you to succeed. The campus is centrally located and has great facilities. If I had to pick something to improve it would be to increase the options of transportation between campuses.

So far very good only negative thing is it’s hard to find someone to talk to about the Irish bursaries, the normal bursary and finances team don’t know the information and they send you to the international office but the international office sent us back to the finance team
