Since starting this course i have felt nothing but welcome, all the staff i have worked with have been friendly and understanding, and one of the main reasons i decided to come to uni in the first place was the friendly nature of the people attending and working, my biggest worry was the fact that i struggled in the past with education environments however being here at this specific uni has helped me unlock a new level of understanding along with the unconventional nature of my learning style. On top of this, the smaller size of this uni has helped massively and generates a feeling of family and security. So far student life and living in accommodation has also been amazing, being able to meet a diverse range of friends from a variation of backgrounds and lifestyles, the accomodations on top of this, i have found to be clean and extremely hospitable, which was a second worry of coming to uni due to the horror stories i've heard of. All in all i think the only way my education could be improved would be more one to one with tutors, or even more time in classes or lectures but even then, my tutors are available to me Monday to Friday, most of the day. I also think we could do with knowing more about our su and our PAT's, which is what I'm focusing on for my first live brief in uni!

I love studying at Canterbury Christ Church. The facilities and area it is in are clean and pleasant. It is close by to the train station and buses so people can commute. There is nothing bad to say about Christ Church.

As a Graphic Design student at Canterbury Christ Church University, I have had the pleasure of immersing myself in a world of creativity and learning that has truly enriched my educational experience. While my journey at CCCU has been marked by several positive aspects, there are a few areas where improvement is needed, primarily in enhancing the student experience. However, it's important to note that this criticism must be considered in light of the challenges posed by the ongoing pandemic, which has affected campus life and student activities. One of the standout features of CCCU is undoubtedly its top-notch facilities. As a Graphic Design student, I've been able to explore a wide range of design software, equipment, and studios that have greatly enriched my creative skills. The campus offers state-of-the-art technology, spacious design labs, and well-equipped workshops that allow us to bring our ideas to life. The resources available have enabled me to experiment and hone my design skills, which is vital in this field. The faculty and staff at CCCU are highly supportive and dedicated to helping students succeed. They bring a wealth of knowledge and real-world experience to the classroom, making the learning experience engaging and practical. Their willingness to provide guidance and mentorship has been invaluable in my growth as a graphic designer. However, my only wish is that CCCU could enhance the student experience even further. While the university has shown great resilience in adapting to the challenges posed by the pandemic, it's hard to deny that some aspects of the typical university experience have been disrupted. Societies and clubs, which are such an essential part of university life, have faced limitations in their activities due to COVID-19 restrictions. But it's important to acknowledge that these constraints were beyond the university's control. The university's response to the pandemic, in terms of safety measures and adapting to online learning, has been commendable. Yet, I look forward to the day when student activities and societies can return to their full glory. In conclusion, my experience as a Graphic Design student at Canterbury Christ Church University has been a highly positive one. The outstanding facilities and the unwavering support of the faculty have made my learning journey both enjoyable and enriching. While the current global situation has undoubtedly impacted the student experience, it's important to remember that this is a challenge faced by universities worldwide. As we navigate through these times, CCCU continues to provide a creative haven for students like me who are passionate about graphic design. I look forward to the day when the campus can once again buzz with the vibrant energy of societies and student activities, but until then, I'm grateful for the opportunities I've had to grow and learn at CCCU.

With only starting last year in September I’ve enjoyed that the university is always clean. I’ve never seen rubbish anywhere or even left in classrooms. Everyone seems to respect the area including the students. The location is near town which is good for new lunch destinations with friends inbetween lectures as well as other students travelling via train or bus to attend their lessons.

A very interactive place to learn and make friends, the staff are always friendly and welcoming. The support I have received is great and has helped me through a lot in the short time I have been here. I love the location of the campus as I am close to my accommodation as well as the town centre, and the facilities on campus are amazing and so useful for my course. The only thing that could be improved is the ease of getting around campus and knowing how to navigate to buildings and classrooms as that is a struggle that nodoby seemed to help with. However, after a few weeks you gain a routine and begin to better understand where you specifically need to go. Also the canteens are great for food and coffee, making it a comfortable experience in and around campus.
