Our Bachelor of Arts (Hons) in Geography offers an exciting course of study covering Development, the Environment, Urban and Cultural Geography, Spatial Data Science as well as interactions with Physical Geography & Environmental Science. Field trips are an important aspect of the King’s Geography experience. We run a domestic residential fieldtrip in the first year, and in the second year we expect to run international fieldtrips (subject to travel restrictions) with likely destinations including Tenerife, Lisbon, and others. This programme has been accredited by the Royal Geographical Society (with IBG). Accredited degree programmes contain a solid academic foundation in geographical knowledge and skills, and prepare graduates to address the needs of the world beyond higher education. The accreditation criteria require evidence that graduates from accredited programmes meet defined sets of learning outcomes, including subject knowledge, technical ability and transferable skills.
