If you want to apply psychological theories and research to real-life criminal justice problems, this is the course for you. You’ll choose from modules covering everything from psychopathy to murder investigations, hate crime to domestic abuse.

How you will learn

BSc (Hons) Forensic Psychology concentrates on evidence-based practice and prepares you to become a capable researcher, skilled in analysing data and policies. Our teaching entails a compelling mix of lectures, seminars, role plays and workshops, delivered by research-active lecturers and practising criminal justice professionals.

Opportunities and experiences

There are regular fieldtrips to courts, prisons and youth offender training centres, plus the chance to meet leading figures from the profession through our vibrant guest speaker programme.
