So close to the train station so really easy access - all buildings are relativity close to each other at city campus so it’s not a big issue if your next class is in a different building. Most of the lecturers are very helpful and especially in my course there is a couple who you can really tell love their job and what they are doing and have so much knowledge which is inspiring! Definitely things to be improved - some of gaps between lecture or seminars and also the timings can be frustrating. It makes it difficult to work alongside the course especially if you are commuting in. It comes down to having to prioritise which might not always be able to be university. They are not check ins with you either and if there is a problem I don’t think they solve it well.

Best part is the course, tutors and level of activity we receive on the course (field trips etc.) The worst part is the students Union, there is very little to do

My university experience has been really good so far. I’ve struggled quite a lot with settling in and my anxiety and depression but there’s been support there for me all the time. Everyone has been so helpful and welcoming, my course is very interesting and I really enjoy it. The university has really good facilities and everything you need to get by at university. I think it’s a great place.

I love it! Sheffield was definetly the right decsion.. The uni is great and so supportive. The city is so friendly, and the nightlife is so good. Due to the city having to universities, it is incredibly social! You are constantly meeting new people.
