This course is a specialist route through our #BSc (Honours) Environmental Science [Q52]# that focuses on environmental management. It’s an interdisciplinary course that combines aspects of biology, ecology, geography, chemistry, technology, management and social science to help you understand environmental situations from all perspectives. You’ll develop the scientific and technical knowledge and skills required to investigate ecosystems, understand fundamental environmental patterns and processes, and address local and global environmental issues. In addition, you’ll study the problems we face in understanding our natural environment and living sustainably.


Key features of the course

- Accredited by the Chartered Institution of Water and Environmental Management (CIWEM) and the Institution of Environmental Sciences (IES)- Develop your scientific, interpretive and creative-thinking skills- Investigate the complexities of the natural environment and our relationship with it- Explore the problems we face with sustainable living- Acquire practical experience at a field school (on-site in the UK or online)
