Our MSc Enterprise and Entrepreneurship develops your enterprise skills, giving you an insight into creating economic and social value through entrepreneurial activity. You’ll gain the skills and knowledge to develop and manage your own business, as well as the ability to work more entrepreneurially in other organisations. By the end of the course, you’ll be adept at identifying new products, processes and markets to exploit opportunities in innovative ways. Engaging with practical activities, you’ll gain skills in planning and designing a new venture, acting as a consultant to an existing organisation, and exploring your own entrepreneurial potential. Our action-based teaching techniques enhance your skills and allow you to experience genuine business challenges faced by enterprise both locally and globally. Course HighlightsYou’ll receive exceptional research-based teaching and practical support through our Centre for Enterprise and Entrepreneurship Studies (CEES). The centre supports you in entrepreneurial activities, such as joining a student enterprise group, starting a business, taking on a social project, or entering a national competition. Teaching is underpinned by cutting-edge research, which explores how enterprise can be used as a force for positive change and action in the world. Gain real-world insight through the Centre’s network of Enterprise Ambassadors who help you to understand how to apply your enterprise education in practice. Benefit from practical learning to help you apply entrepreneurial theories. For example, you’ll plan and design a new venture, applying your skills in a live business environment during the ‘New Venture Challenge. ’ You'll have a dedicated Professional Development Tutor who’ll provide you with tailored academic and careers support. For example, supporting you through your career choices as well as identification and application for jobs. On all Masters courses at Leeds University Business School you’ll have an opportunity to apply for a place on a week-long international study tour which will include company visits, guest lectures and networking events, as well as an opportunity to visit local places of interest.
