- Explore the classical civilisations of Greece and Rome and the cultures of Ancient Egypt, Western Asia and the Byzantine Empire. - Work with a range of literary media including novels, poems, films and artworks. - Gain a solid grounding in classical and modern literary works and choose which areas to delve into further study based on your interests. - Take a specialist Shakespeare module and participate in a residential trip in Stratford-upon-Avon. - Gain knowledge of an ancient language with an optional module in Classical Greek, Latin or Ancient Egyptian.
