Education - BA (Hons)

Bristol, UWE

My experience here has been a good one as a immigrant student this school has support for everyone what you need to do is just ask and they always willing to help, also they have good facilities ,tools and equipment for everyone to study .This school do not support racism they protect everyone and makes everyone feel included in the school. Moreover as a Muslim i get a place to worship and learn the Quran with my fellow Muslims, However i do not i have anything to say about what they should improve on everything is okay for me

I think the campus is nicely sized. It also has everything you’d need there. Also some lovely greenery as well. I live in Wallscourt and to get to the gym it takes me 5 mins and that’s the other size of campus! The gym is good. Has everything you need. The freshers fair was a good laugh and I’d highly recommended any fresher or even year 2/3 to go! Uni has a nice vibe to it. The support system has been good so far as well which is nice. Makes you feel secure here.

My journey as a student at the University of the West of England (UWE Bristol) has been a tale of both commendable features and notable challenges. UWE Bristol boasts an extensive array of academic programs, ranging from business to engineering and the arts. This diversity allows students to tailor their academic pursuits to match their unique interests and future aspirations. Noteworthy is the university's emphasis on practical skills, a key component ensuring graduates are well-prepared for the demands of their professional journeys. One of the standout features of UWE Bristol is its strong connection with industry professionals. This collaborative effort provides students with invaluable opportunities such as internships, placements, and networking events. Engaging with professionals in the industry has proven to be instrumental, offering practical insights and establishing connections that may prove pivotal post-graduation. However, a significant challenge lies in the experience of larger class sizes. This aspect has implications for the depth of class discussions and the extent of individualized attention from professors. While UWE Bristol is actively addressing this concern, prospective students should consider their preferences for class sizes in the context of the broader advantages offered by the university's academic programs. Furthermore, despite ongoing improvements, certain areas of the campus facilities may benefit from additional development. The quality of campus facilities is crucial to the overall student experience, influencing academic and extracurricular activities. While UWE Bristol has made strides in enhancing these facilities, prospective students should assess how these aspects align with their expectations.
