Our BSc (Hons) Economics and Finance course offers you a strong combination of essential business and finance topics alongside the core elements of an economics degree. You will study advanced mathematical and analytical techniques to prepare you for your future career. Our award-winning Professional Training placements prepare students for roles in industry.On our BSc (Hons) Economics and Finance course, you will study how the business and finance sectors operate, their role in modern economics and the essential tools for analysing them. This course is developed around a framework of core economics and quantitative principles. You’ll learn a strong set of analytical skills that are highly relevant to the worlds of business and finance. You will also develop analytical, problem-solving and critical thinking skills, as well as proficiency in quantitative analysis and data analysis. The course will also help you to improve your written and oral presentation skills.We offer careers information, advice and guidance to all students whilst studying with us, which is extended to our alumni for three years after leaving the University.
