The environment over at Loughborough is great, the teaching facilities are excellent, there is a lot of support available, such as a maths support centre. In addition there are a lot of fun activities to do, societies to join, activities that they organise or the LSU organises. All the sports facilities you could imagine are available. Everyone is super friendly, there is a focus on inclusivity with different societies. I am in my last year and have thoroughly enjoyed my time at Loughborough, I’ve been able to excel in my studies and had personal development in many areas thanks to the people surrounding me and support available across all areas.

The campus is massive and there’s always more to explore. The accommodations here are amazing and the facilities in general are very high quality. The gyms are with surprise the best I’ve ever been to.

Loughborough has a lovely welcoming atmosphere which accepts everyone and makes you feel at home. They offer a great range of different catered and self-catered halls which gives good flexibility to suit your needs. The lecturers on the whole are engaging, in person. Student support has seemed questionable at times with long waiting lists and complicated processes with different options available. The SU and nightlife are great on the other hand and that with the lovely community make it a great place to be.

The campus is gorgeous, and the staff are quite supportive. However, the student union could be improved. The nights out are very crowded, and the additional space could be opened up to improve it.

1st year during covid was only negative experience had. Playing sports and getting a good degree was a fantastic experience

Being on a campus university gives you the comfort of being close to any support you may need and reduces the overwhelming feeling of moving to a new town for university. You are less than a 10 minute walk from anything you could possible need, such as food shops, a gym, a coffee shop etc. Huge modern library with quiet places or sociable places o make studying that bit more enjoyable. I've thoroughly enjoyed my time there and am missing the university life whilst on my year in industry.
