I think the best aspect of my uni experience is probably the people, a lot people I come across are open and willing to help out if needed. I think something the uni need to improve is lowering the prices of student accommodation, a lot of the student accommodations are incredibly overpriced for what you get - this is especially bad because I live overseas and needed to be willing to pay around £180-200 for a moderately good accommodation room.

The motivating lecturers;accommodation is expensive; enjoy the concerts, theatre, shopping and nightlife; facilities are excellent; joined the student paper, hiking club and barbershop chrous; s.u is excellent; excellent support with career, mental health and nightline; very good job prospects

I love my course, but it’s easy to forget here at Manchester that you’re actually here to work! There’s so much going on here, from pub quizzes to sports to club nights, that it’s a brilliant place to be. There aren’t many places this vibrant or this full of students that also have such a good and well respected university in it as well, which makes you really feel like you’re a part of something you don’t get anywhere else.
