As part of this course, you’ll:- Develop the range of skills you’ll need to be able to undertake construction management positions- Study the legal, financial and economic environments in which the industry operates- Understand the other professions involved in building- Gain an overview of the whole construction process, including surveying, quantity surveying and architectural technology- Learn to use commercial awareness and professional managerial knowledge in managing contracts within specified quality, cost and schedule boundaries- Understand responsibilities associated with managing site operations, including those concerning the commissioners of a development, direct employees, subcontractors, the public and agents of regulatory and other authorities
