The best experience was the environment of the university to study, I don’t think so that I had any bad experiences in the university it is really nice

Overall, my university experience as a first‑year BSc Computer Science student has been very positive. One of the best aspects is the quality of teaching and academic support. Most lecturers are knowledgeable, approachable, and genuinely enthusiastic about their subjects, especially in core modules like programming and computer systems. The course content is well‑structured and gives a strong foundation in both theory and practical skills, which makes learning feel relevant and motivating. Another major positive is the learning environment. The library and study spaces are well-equipped, modern, and accessible, making it easy to stay focused and productive. The campus has a welcoming atmosphere, and there are plenty of societies and opportunities to meet people, which really helps with settling in and building a social life alongside academics. However, there are also some areas that could be improved. One of the main challenges is the workload and pacing, particularly in the first term. At times, multiple deadlines cluster together, which can be overwhelming for students who are still adjusting to university-level study and independent learning. Additionally, some modules assume prior programming experience, which can put beginners at a disadvantage without extra support. In terms of improvements, clearer guidance on expectations early in the course and more introductory support for students with less technical background would make a big difference. Spreading out assessments more evenly and providing additional practice sessions or workshops could also help reduce stress and improve understanding. Overall, it is a great place to study, especially for Computer Science, with strong teaching, good facilities, and a supportive community. With a few improvements in workload management and beginner support, the student experience could be even better.

Great facilities for my course, such as the library both online and in person, and readily available computers. Great support provided for my disability to make student life a little easier.

I really love the inclusivity of this university and diverse people around. There's a lot my lecturers are helpful with during my studies.

With my 3rd year of studying Canterbury Christ Church, I have great experiences of facilities, going through lectures without struggling on location however, my recommendations to the University itself is outside clubs (e.g. society clubs) although Student Union event counts, I feel like having more than one club/society can fit the best uni experience
