Civil engineering combines your creativity with technological and scientific knowledge that can change the world. You will learn how to design and manage high-profile projects. You will study the key components of civil engineering theory and learn the skills necessary to become a civil engineer. By combining individual study and working together in teams you'll learn about:structures, geotechnics, materials, wind, fluids, transport, surveying, construction managementAlso as part of your course you will take part in site visits to see civil engineering in action. You will access research and laboratory facilities, including:wind tunnels, earthquake simulators, design studios, CADAs a civil engineering graduate, there are many options available to you. You can choose to register with the Engineering Council as an Incorporated Engineer or progress to Chartered Engineer status. Our courses give you the required engineering expertise for either a career in industry or in many other professions that value an analytical, creative mind.
