There are a diverse range of courses available, and the engineering lecturers are really friendly and helpful. There is a new engineering block being built which will improve campus feel and lectures. The students union is quite active. There library has a lot of great resources. There could be better sports facilities and more team sports. The uni being split into different campuses doesnt help as the sports campus is a few miles from the main campus. Some of the buildings are dated and could be refreshed. There could be more lectures and teaching on engineering courses as these are only 2 days/ 3 classes a week. This seems to be because there are a lot of part-time and apprentice students so the schedule has been arranged to accommodate them.

The lab facilities are great, the technicians and lecturers have made the lab welcoming and staff are happy to answer all questions. The canteen is fantastic and offers a great variety of food inspired by different cultures. The sports facilities are perfect for the size of the university. I am a member of the gym and use it between lectures, it has everything I require. Some of the buildings/classrooms could do with updating. The stairs in the Glynneath building have ceilings with missing panels etc. Internally, some buildings could be updated.

I will start with the worse aspect which is inevitable if you live in the University accommodation. The fact that the university has such a hilly terrain is tiring. It would help if the university provides shuttle to drive students within the school premises. There are lots of good things about the Uni starting with the friendly and understanding lecturers who go all out to ensure we understand what we are being taught. The facilities in the school is also helpful as well as the manner in which they are being used for lectures because it helps us to brace up for what awaits us outside school.

Best: the people and the social life in the same time with learning different cultures, the library place nice and cozy area to focus doing work Worse: the cold weather

Good supports from the lecturers an they make sure we understand our subject. However the university far away from the city.
