It's a big university with several campuses and lots of facilities, but there are plenty of student events, societies etc. to make you feel part of the community. There are plenty of nice places to study, libraries, cafes etc., the campuses are open and green, and the accommodation is good. There is the possibility for extensive communication with tutors and lecturers about your personal experiences, struggles, and queries about classes, exams etc. I would say that there can be quite an overload of information, given how big the student community is, and it isn't always easy to navigate their facilities such as the student services, but there are so many staff and other students who are willing to help you get the advice or information you need, that it's always worth investing time into exploring the facilities and assistance open to you.

Nottingham uni is great, the campus is beautiful, the halls I lived in in first year were amazing, there is lots of grass, great student bars and social atmosphere, and lovely people.Lecturers and classes are mostly top notch, I study hispanic studies and I love it.Nottingham as a city is lovely. It has a great nightlife and the lacemarket has all the vintage shops and little side streets you could need.In my biased opinion it is one of the best.
