The Facilities are great, I do biochemistry so use labs and they are great, nice design and enjoyable to work in. UEA is a 50 min walk from Norwich city centre but there are lots of food places on campus and an SU store as well as regular buses into city. There is support for students who need it, for example my course has some complicated maths and if we are struggling we can see the learning enhancement team for help. UEA is a lovely campus, there are walks like around the lake and the street with shops and other facilities. It can be a lot of concrete in some places but I enjoy that aesthetic. I can't comment on student life too much as I rarely go out but I know there are weekly events at the LCR where you can go clubbing and drinking and if you join societies there will always be events going on. The student union is good too, there is a website where you can find information about academic and emotional support as well as general info such as renting and different events happening.

The green spaces are nice and there are lots of facilities. Lectures are informative and lecture recordings allow for easier study outside of classes. Timetables can be very cramped, with some days having very few breaks throughout the day. Improve management of money as the uni's debt is higher than other universities of a similar educational standard. General improvement for lecturers in relation to the UCU's reasoning for strikes. By improving lecturers' lives, the education will improve and strikes won't negatively impact the education given.

Overall, UEA is a very solid uni with good teaching, engaging lessons and good quality teaching labs. A particular highlight of the services UEA provides is the outstanding Student Services department which has helped me immensely throughout my course (doubtless it has helped many others too) with problems ranging from personal to academic. Another standout is the maths helpdesk as everyone there is incredibly friendly and helpful and can help you learn any maths topic, from GCSE to A-level and up, regardless of which course you're on. If I had to give a downside, I'd say that the architecture is some of the blandest this side of the USSR and the On-Campus food offerings are not great value for money. As well as this, certain lecturers can be particularly slow to upload lecture slides and the quality of your academic advisor varies from individual to individual (although they are generally incredibly helpful and responsive).

Management needs to get it's priorities straight, but the lecturers are lovely and care very deeply about the subjects they teach. The campus is really pretty and the grounds are amazing! It also has a really active club scene if that's what you're looking for, and the city is really vibrant!

UEA is a great campus with really good facilities and being situated in Norwich which is a beautiful city with great rail networks to London makes it an all around great place to study. Not to mention the great sports they offer at both a performance and amateur level!
