My first year studying Banking and Finance at UWE has provided a highly robust foundation in capital markets and financial systems. The absolute best aspect is the practical application of macroeconomic theories and the rigorous analytical frameworks taught by the faculty. The facilities, particularly the trading room simulations, offer excellent asymmetric upside for developing real-world quantitative skills. If I had to suggest an area for improvement, it would simply be expanding the availability of niche financial technology modules earlier in the undergraduate curriculum to stay ahead of market trends. Overall, an excellent ROI for my educational capital, and Alhamdulillah for the highly supportive environment.

The best part of my universities are the facilities like as a banking and finance student I can use Bloomberg terminal all the time which is very useful. If I talk about the worst parts which is tuition fee. Sometime we face problem while paying tuition fee but they force us to pay the tuition fee within few days which is sometime make pressure

The best aspect of studying at the University of the West of England (UWE Bristol) is how practical and supportive the learning environment is. The lecturers in the Banking and Finance course really connect the theory to real-world examples, which helps me understand how finance actually works in businesses and markets. The Frenchay Campus also has great facilities — the library, study spaces, and even the student support teams make studying here so much easier and more enjoyable. The worst aspect, or rather something that could be improved, is the workload balance during certain modules. Sometimes assignments from different modules are due around the same time, which can be stressful for students, especially for those in the Top-Up program adjusting to a new academic system. It would help if deadlines were spaced out a bit more. Overall, UWE Bristol is a great place to study — diverse, friendly, and full of opportunities to grow academically and personally.
