Coventry University

There is so much support at the uni for whatever queries we have. Lectures support and help us through the modules. The only things which are frustrating are printers at campus. As a creative student I would like printing facilities to be better.

Covid so having to be stuck at home and the arts building being under reconstruction since I joined in the 2nd year of my study

Coventry University allows and encourages you to develop your skills and gain massive knowledge throughout. Specially having facilities and campus open at times that accommodate every need. It could improve in relation to registry being less strict towards students and the difficulties towards theirs personal lives. I realise it’s difficult to always believe in students, but they don’t allow students to have “burnouts”, and time to figure out how to handle they’re personal work life and studying. Speaking as a working student, I’ve chosen part-time Masters in order to balance work life, which in the end was very hard and nearly impossible to balance. I could never be 100% focus. Other countries offer you the possibility to prove you’re a worker and the ability to accommodate both with alternative schedules for deliveries and possible exams. If we chose and pay to study, the university should be on our side to achieve better.

I like it because it’s so diverse with students with all over the world. The university always develops in order to create a better environment for students which I appreciate.

My university experience has made me feel like I am achieving something and has been largely enjoyable. Unfortunately the experience has been very disrupted due to covid-19, however I don’t feel that this reflects on the university and I am hopeful that I will be able to pick up where I left off in September.
