You'll join a collaborative architecture community within Leeds School of Arts, taught by industry experienced architects and designers in well-equipped studios and workshops designed to mirror professional practice. Through seminars, guest lectures, site visits, and live client projects, you'll experiment with your ideas beyond the studio and gain first-hand insight into how architecture operates in the real world. In your first year, you'll study alongside students from our Interior Architecture and Landscape Architecture courses, creating a vibrant, collaborative, multidisciplinary environment that mirrors how architects work in practice.
Professional experience and developmentUnderstanding the profession is key to success. The course builds your understanding of how an architect operates within the construction industry. This includes knowledge of the Architects Registration Board (ARB) and the Royal Institute of British Architects (RIBA), and how this degree contributes to becoming a qualified architect.
