We need architectural environment engineers to work at the forefront of creating a global low carbon future.This course gives you the knowledge and skills to work alongside architects, influencing design of sustainable, smart buildings as well as structures like stadiums, water parks and indoor ski-slopes. You’ll learn all about renewable energy generation, smart controls, thermal comfort, acoustics and lighting design.You’ll become an engineer ...Read more

We need architectural environment engineers to work at the forefront of creating a global low carbon future.This course gives you the knowledge and skills to work alongside architects, influencing design of sustainable, smart buildings as well as structures like stadiums, water parks and indoor ski-slopes. You’ll learn all about renewable energy generation, smart controls, thermal comfort, acoustics and lighting design.You’ll become an engineer that can make a difference – sharing your knowledge to improve global building performance and services.You will spend year three in industry. You can apply for placements available to students on your course or can agree your own placement with an appropriate company. During your industrial year, you remain fully registered with the University, with regular meetings with your tutor. Duration: 3 years full-time (plus a year in industry)
