I extremely enjoy studying on campus it is a calming and supportive environment. I always know that I am struggling with anything there are plenty of support teams available both online and in-person to answer any question I may have. I love the amount of private study areas that can be booked out to use for independent learning as it helps me be able to work in a quiet and focused space away from my noisy accommodation. It could be improved through the Students' union because there is not enough support for non-sporting societies and a lot of the bigger societies are given priority over important things such as first-aid training for committee members, leaving the smaller, newer societies lacking these.

I like the amount of contact hours I get with the lecturers, we study a good mix of blended learning sessions as well as practical sessions where we can use the laboratories to put our knowledge into practice. I feel as though this is extremely helpful with all of the different learning styles that my cohort may have. I have struggled with the placement aspect of my course as I sent an application for a role advertised on the learning portal and after being told I had gotten the placement, I was only told months later that they had put another student down to do it, leading me to have to struggle to find a last minute placement a week before a lot of the vacancies expired.

It is a warming environment to move to and during my studies I have felt extremely supported no matter what issues I may have been going through. You feel like a name rather than a number at Chester. The Student's Union could work harder on matching this tone however.

It is blended quite well especially coming off of the backs of Covid-19, the lecturers and university itself handled it really well.

There's plenty to do and always some kind of event happening in the city to get involved in. There's also so many incredible places to eat and to study no matter what works best for you.
