I live on the Headingley Campus and I have had such a great university experience for my 1st year, this university is welcoming and very supportive. Student support is great and whenever I feel like I've got a concern it is dealt with immediately. I love the way the campus looks with the historic buildings and the lovely green space. Student life is great and the location is perfect because it's not too far from the city but it's in such a nice area. If I could improve anything I would suggest having more events so students can get to know each other more.

I love my course greatly but I would prefer attending face to face lectures than online ones. However, all the course context is perfect and the support we get from our lectures is fantastic. If I ever have a concern about something related to my course they help find a solution. I didn't get much help from the placement team, however i did manage to find placement which I feel helps me develop my learning even more and will help me with career prospects later on. If I could change anything it would be more face to face time, however I do understand that we are just coming out of a pandemic.

It can be pricey living in Leeds due to social life, rent and much more but I have a part-time job/ placement which has helped me with the cost of living. The transport options are great and so is the safety. Leeds feels like a diverse place. I feel the graduate opportunities will be good as alongside my degree I have to complete placement which will make me more employable in the future.

The wifi can sometimes be a bit slow but it's understandable as so many people live here. The staff are all friendly and are very helpful. The value for money is good even though it is very expensive I understand why as the facilities are excellent and the safety of the place is just as good. The rooms are very nice only feedback is the bathrooms as they are like a wet room. However overall I loved my accommodation for my first year.
