The communal atmosphere of the campus makes a wonderful place to be and study. The library is open at all hours so there’s always a space to get some good studying in. To improve I’d say the Student Union could be open out of term time so there’s someone to hang out and have a drink for anyone who doesn’t go home in the holidays.

The classes are well taught, in person, the lecturers always make content clear and easy to understand. The practical sessions are engaging and good fun. I think there should be more contact time as it is only 8 hours a week.

I liked that it felt as if living in a house, giving a feeling of true independence. It was good size, though I think for the size it was it could have been a bit less money. The washing facilities were shared but there were enough machines that there was usually always a washer and dryer free to use.

The best aspect of my Uni experience so far is how friendly and approachable all the staff are across both campuses making me feel welcome and safe; this was especially nice during the first few weeks of uni as it helped me feel confident and comfortable in and around the uni. As of yet the worst part of my uni experience would have to be 9am lectures.

The best part about my course is the hands on practicality of the seminars. With the nature of the work I am looking to go into having physical experience working hands on and practicing the skills I will be using throughout my entire career is very important to me. The worst part of my course so far would once again be 9am lectures. It’s just so early to process all the information

The grange is a fun place to live, it’s a very sociable accommodation with the layout of both the house and the rest of the area. The only downsides to the grange is the lack of social space (a living room etc) due to the houses being quite small.
