Good, attractive campus, the buildings are always clean and lecture/seminar rooms well-kept. Nice lecture and seminar staff. The student union itself is always very active. In terms of improvement, mainly cost of accommodation and also accommodation quality. The heating in the courts accommodation on campus has not been working. This has been reported and unfortunately we have received no help or improvements. This does negatively affect my overall view of the university facilities and help system. Why are we paying so much for accommodation with included heating costs when we are unable to use the heating?

A good amount of contact time - around 10 hours a week so we aren’t overwhelmed. Seminar content is very in depth. There is a lot of essential reading which the seminars are often based upon. However a lot of the essential reading is unavailable to us online and there are only 8 copies of a book in the library and 350 students all needing it constantly. This means I cannot do the essential reading without buying a physical copy of the reading book. This can be £30 - £70 a book. I cannot afford this luxury. If one is going to set something as essential for the course, one must make it available for free for all students online. As this causes discrimination for those poorer students who cannot buy the books.

Most - it’s close to the university as it’s on the campus. Least - the pricing and the property management is awful! Why am I paying for heating included if I’m not getting heating? It’s feels like we are being scammed. They ignore complaints about lack of heating or blow them off claiming it’s another company’s fault but they aren’t doing anything to resolve it.

i love how close everything is to my accomodations. and the support offered by the wellbeing center.
