I just love the campus and how friendly everyone is! It’s so leafy and lovely!!

The teaching is the perfect balance of lectures and independent learning, and the staff are always there to help.

There’s options for everyone and it’s great to have that choice! I personally love the village a lot!!

I love the feel of the campus, although there are some outdated looking buildings that kind of throw off the vibe. But, overall great campus. One thing is the train routes from Leicester are not the best, they have actually been voted one of the worst in England. So getting home requires multiple modes of transport. There are always events going on around campus and in the common rooms and the support here from the uni is great, whether thats mentally, emotionally or academically.

There are lectures each week for each module which are filled with information as well as workshops where you can have discussions with your lecturer and course mates. Some of the lectures are really passionate which makes learning more fun and interesting. There have been some volunteering opportunities surrounding the course. One of the worse aspects of my course is that they removed some optional modules half way through the academic year, ones which i was personally really interested in and was hoping to take for second year. This includes the student placement project which is one of the reasons i chose Leicester.

The halls are new and up to date. I like the grey and white colour scheme of the rooms, they're big and there is lots of storage. The ensuite is an alright size and the shower is big. The kitchen is also large and has enough appliances and storage for the 10 people. There is a Morrisons supermarket about a 10 minute walk away which is great for food shops. Despite choosing mix gendered halls I was allocated to a flat with all the same gender, but not a problem. Another minor detail I dislike about my uni hall in particular is that I was put in this block thats not even on the new Freemen's campus when I in fact applied for one on there. Not a huge problem at all, its the same looking building and everything, just means Im a bit further away.
