The only real downside of living at bath as a student is the price of everything- not much cheaper than London prices. However, bath is a beautiful city and the resources provided to us both in an educational aspect and in a social aspect are endless.

Criminology has a mix of lectures, seminars, tutorials and (one a week) online lectures. Personally this I offers a perfect mix of different types of contact hours/ learning time. Yet there is a lot of reading expected from the course which may get overwhelming

Slightly expensive but everything is reliable from the security to hot showers. Quads are also located very central to campus so it never takes me more than 10 minutes to get to a lecture

It’s a very friendly environment and I like how there’s always a lot of support for students. However, for my course in particular a few of us are not as satisfied with the becoming a social scientist module as it does little to help towards the course and we have very little lectures compared to other courses. I feel as though we may benefit from more lecturers weekly perhaps with the inclusion of another module

I would like more course hours because for criminology we have hardly any. I think I’d really benefit from more. The contact with lecturers is good as they reply to emails quickly.

I love Eastwood terrace, it’s such a lovely accom to live in for first year. We’ve had a couple house issues relating to things like broken TV/kettle but all of that was sorted very quickly. The fire alarm drill still scares me every Friday morning.
