The best aspect of my uni experience is the fact that I’ve been able to join a uni such as Middlesex which has been supportive with my enquiries and needs; I’ve made some really good friends and I have great class members and lecturers. The only bad side to my uni experience is the fact that things are extremely expensive in London and it has put a dampener on things but other than that, it’s been pretty good.

The best aspects of my course is that the lecturers go in depth about everything; I love the fact that even if you miss a day due to sickness or whatever your circumstances may be, the lessons are recorded so you don’t miss out on any vital information you may need to learn for your course. The lecturers are accessible during the times they give you and sometimes out of hours so they can support you further - which I really appreciate. My course has been great so I have no negative comments.

The thing I like the most about Unite is the location, Wembley has so much to offer and when you’re not studying in uni, there are facilities available both inside the accommodation and in the area, where you can study. The only thing I least like about uni halls is that it can get noisy in the flat sometimes whether it’s people coming in or going out or having friends over (which isn’t a problem at all) but if that’s something you don’t like / sharing a kitchen then that’s the discrepancy otherwise it’s a great experience to make new friends.

Overall my experience has been good, especially during my first year, I feel that the university helped me to adjust to the new environment. Since COVID, although the standard of teaching has been the best that it can regarding the circumstances, there has been poor communication from the university. Whether that be with exams, no-detriment policy or when in-person teaching would resume. The contact hours have also be less this year which makes me believe it is not good value for money.
