The student support and facilities themselves are usually pretty good as well as life while studying in the university, but the location of the University is quite uneventful and there is not much to do here besides university related events. It would be nice if there was more consistency with the condition of all the buildings as some of them are quite old while others are freshly constructed.

The course is easygoing and has a diverse range of subjects with lecturers who usually have strong qualifications, however there are a few who give dull lectures with sometimes questionable sources. No part of the course is taught online but there is a good availability of lectures which are recorded in person and put online later. The contact with lecturers is good. The only issue is for opportunities for work, as there are not many of those outside of local government opportunities.

The location is probably the best part about the halls because it is a short walk from the university. One of the biggest benefits of this location is its extra facilities like common rooms, study rooms, a gym, cinema and a music room. If you make full use oof everything available, it has a good value for money. However, there is a wide range in the quality of rooms within these halls. Mine is clean and relatively modern but this is not the case for many of the rooms here which are not in the best condition. What you get is a bit up to luck and some people do pay quite a lot for underwhelming rooms, but on the other hand you could also get a very nice one for what would seem like a lower price.

The environment is perfect and the staff are really good

I wish there was more contact hours instead of lectures like smaller groups especially for courses such as coding
