The staff I have met so far as well as the facilities available (especially Adsetts Library & the new buildings) have been amazing and have provided an excellent environment for learning. I will say though that this review is incomplete, mainly due to the fact that the Student Union is in the process of moving location and so I haven't experienced it a lot. There is a cost of living shop though and the staff are really nice.

I will say that since I am only in my First Semester it might not be a 100% formative opinion, but so far the course has been really interesting and a pleasant experience. I haven't spoken to my Tutor yet but I hopefully will do soon.

The redmires building is amazing and the lectures for politics and international relations really do excel. They aren’t the types just to read off a PowerPoint they really do give you the additional information for you to progress making it so much more accessible for those who didn’t do politics Alevel. The assignments also make you think outside the box they aren’t just so back to back essays. The worst aspect is probably just how spread out the classes are in the week making it a bit difficult to juggle employment and uni but there has definitely been ways around it

We have a lot of our lectures and seminars in person which is great, every day of the week there is essentially contact hours and always some one to ask about everything

Laundry is SUPER expensive, a wash is £5.10 then a dry is £2.60 which you usually have to run twice. Other than that it’s a super social place where you get to know a lot of people the location is great and you are close to a lot especially an aldi
