Dmu is fantastic when it comes to helping students break the bridge between learning difficulties and academics. I am a single mother whonis 26 and I am encouraged to study with DMU. I get financial advise and help. The lecturers are so understanding of my situation if my daughter is on half term when im supposed to be in class. They help me in so many ways i cant state them all.

I have just started so I can not say much. I do wish to have talks and networks about jobs to work in while studying this course. Or even careers events / network events you can go ro around the country to be able to feel like you can do this course dont let people put you off. What happens is you tell someone "oh im doing History and they say what are you going to use that for ... We need help in this area.
