Stay in halls for your first year, you nneed the halls as a way of first meeting people, you are all in the same boat together that way and you have to make friends, do not be daunted by it because everyone is in the same boat, use the university student union bar and join a club or society

Pretty good uni, lots of great societies for you to get involved in and the nights out in Manchester are amazing. the course is pretty good too, it can get hard though so you need to know how to manage your time well and be strict if you need to keep yourself out of the union an in the library!
