The lecture theatres I use are very outdated in comparison to other universities. The lighting is poor, often feels stuffy and damp during the winter. Audio-visual equipment could do with an overhaul. Even simple things like having microphones lecturers can use wirelessly would be a huge game changer, as many speak very quietly meaning that even in the middle of the lecture theatre, it is difficult to hear them. The University of Southampton has done a fantastic job of this, especially in their 200/300 seat lecture theatres. I struggle knowing the purpose of the Student's Union, nothing seems to happen there. By comparison to other universities, Portsmouth's Union isn't great. There is hardly any facilities there for socialising, hosting or attending events, or any real incentive to visit the building. In terms of studying, I like my timetable and workload. It is incredibly manageable if you just get on with what needs doing. I feel a lot of people are over dramatic with regards to this. As long as you work hard and keep on top of things, you will be fine. I am really enjoying my course and being at University. Of course there are things I would love to change or improve, but I am enjoying myself. I landed my place here through clearing, and I am so glad I did. I love where I live and study. Kudos to Portsmouth!

The course is great, difficult but good. I struggle sometimes with confidence in my lecturers. A fair few do not teach the content they are presenting, they merely copy notes out for us to then copy. The depth of understanding and teaching is often missing. This has been quite disappointing. The ability to contact my lecturers is good and easy, I would just change their teaching styles, and offer more frequent drop in sessions throughout the week.

Fantastic hall of residence. Just enough space for 1 person, although I do have the smallest room in my flat. Location is fantastic. Relatively safe due to keycard system but people can easily sneak in. The floor 19 common room gives a great view of the city, definitely a highlight. Wifi can be tempremental, rent is a bit high considering I have a very small room and share with 10. Could do with another fridge freezer and a bit more counter space in the kitchen. Solid hall of residence. Don't adore it, but definitely do not hate it.

Supportive disability team, campus is easy to navigate and facilities are good. Library is very good.

I wish we could have more trips like we did in year one (observatory etc). More interactive lessons vs constant lectures.
