The best aspect of Lincoln is the city itself, it is a really nice, affordable place to live and I’ve met some of the best people here. I stayed in uni accommodation for my first year and it was very nice and the maintenance support was efficient. The worst part of Lincoln is the fact some of the chairs are old and need replacing and are missing tables

The lecturers at approachable and genuinely enjoy their subjects. The building and facilities for the school of engineering and physical sciences are very modern and some of the nicest I’ve seen from other universities. The one downside is the fact contact hours with my personal tutor have gone down this year so it’s quite rare. The actual contact hours for the lectures are well thought out, it’s about 3 hours per week for most subjects which leaves plenty of time for part time work or revision. Most lectures are in person but very rarely there will be an online lecture if a room is being used or a lecturer can’t make it.

Quite expensive for what you get, however it is definitely the nicest of the accommodations. The wifi was fast and maintenance issues got resolved quickly. The worst part for me was being on the bottom floor as I couldn’t really have my blinds open but it wasn’t the end of the world.
