YSJ is on a campus near the city with excellent facilities, a mix of traditional and modern buildings and it is compact and friendly. It has been easy to settle in to YSJ due to the support systems, the amazing societies, fantastic resources, the dedicated lecturers and the variety of learning styles and topics. I would recommend YSJ as a place to learn, socialise and belong.

The course has all in person learning which is necessary for a practical and theoretical course. There are many contact hours but I prefer it that way and I love the extra curricualr opportunties too.

I love the position, appearance and layout of my halls and am glad to be in a block with just 4 of us, as we have got to know one another well. I was disappointed that my room was not a refurbished one and although I have space, a good wardrobe, desk and a new heater, the carpet was disgustingly filthy and stained on arrival, it is the worst in my block, but apart from that I do appreciate the kitchen being updated, even if the rooms and ensuites are not.
