The best thing that I love about being at uni is the freedom and fun, you learn so much while you are away from home. This scares some people but I think Glasgow has the perfect balance between home and university. The city is a very safe place to live and I feel very safe here.

I am an international student at Glasgow and I feel comfortable here although I am thousands of miles away from home. I love this university and think that my decision to come here was right. I would say that you should actually go out and talk to everybody, be nice to everyone. That way, you will make enough friends so that you dont miss your home
