Good atmosphere, good course, gym is too small. Gym needs way more equipment. Campus has a subway and domino's deliver until 5 so thats good. The accomidation is good but the bathroom could be better. LUSU could be better. The 'LUSU' shop is way too expensive.

The campus set up is amazing, everything is in one place and is all easily accessible. It creates a student town feel that is separated from Lancaster city centre. Our collegiate system is great, gives a sense of belonging and introduces healthy competition across campus. Lectures in person are well planned, powerpoints are released in advance which allows you to prepare for lectures. Lectures are also recorded which is great for any content you accidentally miss during a lecture. Study spaces are amazing, my college study space allows me to get out of my room but not have to waste time travelling into the city or way across campus. The library is also great, it’s massive and so aesthetically pleasing with the ability to book study spaces for groups or individually.

Course hours are long with many timetabled in person sessions which are worse in some weeks than others. But i’m an engineering student so it’s a given. We have tutor every week (which i know isn’t the case for all subjects) but enables us to talk about our week and any work we’ve completed. These sessions are in small groups so allows you to have focused conversation is peers and an older adult. If i could change one thing i would set some lectures online, i think some content could be taught online which would give me a feel of being less busy and stressed throughout the day.

I have my own room with an en-suite, i like this option as i enjoy my own space. I think it may be slightly overpriced as i know people in other colleges who pay less and have more room. We have a cleaner though she doesn’t do too much, so we tend to clean ourselves. My kitchen is one of the new renovated ones which looks lovely and is okay for space though it could be better.
