It is one of the best unis in the North East, in terms of student life, social life, city life and also academics. I am pleased that I chose Northumbria as my uni. I stayed in uni halls for my first year and I loved it. I was staying at Winn Studios residence and i would say it is the best accommodation by Northumbria uni. It is very close to the campus and also pretty close to all the local attractions. There will be lots of opportunities to gain work experience and placements on and off campus. Also, the careers team is always there to help, to review your CV.

Best: some professors have experienced a lot of travel and it's very interesting hearing about their experience and thoughts Worst: sometimes courses are repeated as an exchange student that transferred into this university.

Like best: price, location and only 2 flatmates Worst part: overly expensive washing machine services that do a poor job at drying clothes (not value for money), heaters that turn off and never really fully warm up the room fully, a heat detector above the stove that is beeps unnecessarily and doesn't allow for effective cooking, an unofficial smoking area near the rooms used frequently by earthy smokers - the smell infiltrates the rooms - although no smoking is allowed on the premises.
