It’s very good value for money. It’s also very quiet despite being next to the cathedral. The only poor bit is that despite being in an alcohol free accommodation there is still alcohol occasionally

Surrey is an incredibly modern and upcoming university, which is climbing in the tables. The whole atmosphere is incredibly friendly and welcoming and the facilities are excellent.

The library is a fantastic place to be and there are plenty of extra IT rooms. Each department also has it's own computer room so that any software for the course can be used.

There are many departments which seek to help students in all their many areas, sometimes too many!

The Student's Union really seems to listen to the students, and the onsite Nightclub boosts their reputation furthur.

There isn't the nightlife that there is in London or Newcastle but there are still pretty decent places to go to. Although the drink are relatively expensive.

There are always more societies arising and the Student Union is very supportive of them all.

Surrey does have a wide range of courses, yet is more Science, Engineering, Language and Music based than humanities. The majority of the lecturers are brilliant and incredibly helpful,

The Year in Industry enhances employability at the end of any degree.

With the exception of one court of residences, all the halls are super nice and functional. The addition of cleaners is an added bonus.
