The campus is very pretty and a lovely place to study. The accommodation process is extremely frustrating as it is random allocation, and a lot of student were placed off campus and were not informed this would be an option when applying. Means that you feel left out of the campus bubble and less included. Furthermore it is around a 30 min walk to campus so extremely frustrating to get to lectures. Some societies have felt inclusive where as others have been extremely off putting and 2nd years and up have not been welcoming towards first years and new members, means there is a toxic environment within teams. Other societies have been the complete opposite and have been extremely welcoming towards freshers. The students union is well organised and runs regular events to help the students. There is limited night life opportunities and getting tickets for these is extremely hard.

Only 2 hours of contact time per week per module. This means most weeks you only go into campus 3 times a week and the rest is expected for you to learn at homes. Course is taught in a workshop style where it is expected that you do the learning of the content outside the classroom and in the lecture it is discussion of the questions set of you rather thane explanations and teaching. This is extremely difficult as it means a lot of your time is spent reading the textbooks and learning from these rather than your lecturers.

The allocation process for university halls is not very well organised. Have been placed in a private accommodation by the university off campus, so as soon as this was organised by the university they completely stopped contact and feel like i have been left to figure out the rest on my own. Also this was never clearly stated as a possibility and expected to be placed on campus as this was what was advertised by the university. The actual halls are very nice and spacious however the price is not value for money with most on campus accommodations being cheaper, the university didn't take this into account. Students had no say if they wanted to live where they had been allocated, it was there or no accommodation, and the process was random allocation rather than first come first served which is extremely unfair.

The best aspects are that it is in a nice area with a good community. The town is really good for social life and student life. The lecturers are good too and I feel I have an adequate amount of support as a student.

The course is good and interactive, although I feel some of the modules could be a little more useful and I could at times be provided with better support.

The halls were fun and a good social experience. The staff were helpful when necessary
