Salford exceeded my expectations of the Uni. as it was not my first choice I was not expecting to enjoy it but it has been most pleasant. My lectures are generally interesting and the workload is easy to manage. Manchester and Salford University Officer Training Corps also provides me with an excellent way to accelerate my military career. While salford is boring, Manchester is fun and I have only been mugged once!

Good facilities and great location for city centre Manchester. Student Union is the only draw back and accommodation is average compared to others. Good support for students and a decent range of courses.
