Could do with more facilities

I completed my undergraduate psychology degree in Aberystwyth as well. It truly is the most beautiful place to study. There are constant views of the sea, lots of trees and it's also impossible to get lost. It's often referred to as the "Aberystwyth bubble" - everyone knows each other and it truly is a sense of community. The town itself is full of great local restaurants plus its quite cheap. From a negative point of view, I would have wanted more support from my department during my masters.

As I studied an MPhil and therefore was solely a research masters, it's difficult to comment on things such as work placement and internships and course content seeing that I was only required to complete one module alongside my research. However, I enjoyed the ability to complete my research independently and the freedom I was given to complete a research topic completely my own. The facilities provided to me from the university that allowed me to data collect and complete a successful write up. However, although I was given a great proportion of freedom, I would have liked more support from my supervisors I almost had too much freedom and little guidance. This may suit some students but I found it difficult.
