Best: Great location and nice campus. Tutors are proffesional and engaging. Worst: University slow to acknowledge cost of living crisis. Strikes have affected education.

Best: Course offers residential opportunities and tutors talk on a level playing field Worst: Residential timing means there's little time for false starts, external factors have not been thought of such as train strikes or personal life getting in the way

Best: Located right next to my studio area, good security being away from town but also 3 locks for security, porters were always helpful with a 24/7 service. Worst: Relatively cheap accomodation compared to other unis, but compared to off campus student houses they're still expensive for the basic stuff you get.

Lancaster is a campus university which makes it feel like a small town. There is everything you need here, and only short trips into town are necessary for essential food. It has many clubs and societies, meaning you will always have something to look forward to between studying. The downsides of Lancaster are that the buses are pretty expensive, the city is nearly an hour away, walking around campus can be a trek, and the laundry service is quite costly. I love studying and living in Lancaster and would highly recommend it.
