The uni has a lot of stuff to offer, especially for film production - there's so many utilities, we have up to standard editing software, the latest computers that have loads of storage, and up to date equipment that works perfectly. The media centre is great and really captures life as a film or media student as we have the radio playing so you have music in the main foyer, film posters dotted around it feels more inclusive than other unis

The worst part about my course is that there is no work placement, and you don't really get much help in the step to your first real job. Contradictory to that there is loads of networking nights where you get to meet other people and industry proffesional

The best part about halls is there's so many people and staff so you feel more secure and safe, and you get to meet students and flat parties and socials make it better if you don't know anyone. The worst part is the rules and the flat visits, some uni halls are a bit catfish, we only had a tiny bin for 6 person flat so bin bags would pile up a bit and then we'd be threatened with a fine if they weren't taken out

For me, it is the non teaching staffs and the fact that I have got lecturers like Dave that really cares about us, student.

The best is the practical part of it and it is pressured, the worse part is too short time to cover some essentials of filming
