I think the sense of community you get from Plymouth university is incredible. I study filmmaking and there’s a lot of commitment from other departments to combine the creative arts courses! By this I mean how they push us to work together especially when it comes to coursework and sharing ideas! The location of the university buildings is very nice too as it is very close to pretty much everything you’d need from a city. It is also within walking distance from the hoe which is always a nice place to go for a walk and explore. I think the decrease and cutting of funding for some creative subjects is a shame, especially because the courses they offer are rated so highly in Plymouth.

I wish there were more hours of lectures/ workshops as we only have 2 semesters and no exams, so we’re not in a lot of the time and are left to work out a lot of things on our own. Despite this, the lecturers are never reluctant to come in and assist students during extra hours and are always very very welcoming when it comes to tutoring and assisting in projects.

I think the being close to the hoe and city is great and having lectures interested in what they do

I like the access to all the equipment and places but I would like more lectures and lectures involved using equipment

I liked the location but I had a problem ladt year of my flats power kept cutting
