Sheffield, the greenest city in the UK, is a great place to study. Sheffield is open and the people are warm. It can be a bit windy, but once you learn to dress for the weather then you're good to go. The hills can be a challenge too when you're hiking, but there's always a bus/tram/train around the corner, so getting around is a breeze. There are loads of activities to fill your time too, and the student population is huge. The only down side may be the slight difficulty in securing family sized accommodation.

Classes were fine. The lecturers were brilliant and helpful.

I've had a great experience at Sheffield Hallam so far and would recommend it to anyone. I think the courses are interesting and the lecturers are helpful and approachable.
